Giving you the words and wiles to succeed online

Web design

If I had a pound coin for every time I saw a business held back by needing a new website, I would be writing post-apocalyptic novels all day. Whilst drinking chocolate milk on a beach. In Cornwall. With a lovely, lightly oiled chap massaging my feet.

You get the idea. Lots of businesses, all needing a website but either scared to death of taking the plunge, or unable to afford something that looks professional without breaking the bank. Well, in service to you and Nisaba, may I humbly recommend Kate's amazing website package for people in exactly that situation? It's called "Phew!" and it rocks. And if you need convincing, just look at the Your Nisaba site; this very nook of the internet was created by her fair hands using Phew!

The nutshell: Phew! is a WordPress based website package that gets a unique, customised business website up and running for £450.

All the info is on Kate's site. If you are being held back by a poor website, or need one from scratch, I couldn't recommend this more highly.

Newsletter software

There are all kinds of reasons why a regular newsletter sent out by email is a good idea for businesses, and you'll hear a lot about that in the blog and, funnily enough, in my own newsletter. I use the delightful AWeber email newsletter service. It's reasonably priced, easy to use, has great customer support and a huge knowledge zone and is dedicated to not permitting spam. Yummy scrumptious; if you want to do your own email newsletters, then I heartily recommend them.

A small note about the links

Please note that these are affiliate links, meaning that if you click through and ultimately buy or sign up to these services, I will receive a thank you from the owners, usually in the form of money. I hope you don't mind, Kate and AWeber have encouraged me to do this, and if it's ok by them, then it's ok by me. I wouldn't recommend anything I haven't used myself, and believe to be excellent.
